●    instant vanilla pudding mix

●     whole milk – must be cold milk or half and half when added to the pudding mix

●     sour cream or plain Greek yogurt

●     strawberry pie filling

  • 8 ounce 8 Cool Whip

  • 3 tablespoons 3 almond slivers

Have a question can u used cream cheese instead of sour cream

Hi Tina, as the sour cream is used in the cooking process of making the pudding, I wouldn't swap it for cream cheese. If you prefer cream cheese, I would completely skip the pudding layer and add the cream cheese there. It's the only way it may work. Hope this helps :)
