Start your day with this easy green juice recipe! Pineapple and Kale juice is the perfect healthy energy booster, ready in 5 minutes

Pineapple and Kale Juice Benefits
When we talk super healthy greens, kale takes the trophy. It is definitely one of the most nutritious green food and healthy. The most common type of kale that we can find at the markets or shops is called curly kale or Scots kale with curly, vibrant green colored leaves and a hard, fibrous stem.
Fresh kale provides vitamin A, vitamin K, C, B6, calcium, potassium and magnesium just to name a few.
Some of the best pineapple juice benefits are: anti-inflammatory properties, vitamin C, gut and heart health.
How to Make Pineapple Kale Juice
After reading all the health benefits of these fresh ingredients, I wanted to combine he fresh pineapple with some greens (you cannot have enough of these and I definitely don’t include them too often in my diet) so I added some fresh kale and swiss chard leaves to the mix.
You’ll need a good quality juicer to extract the best of these leafy greens. It’s quite tricky to juice kale and spinach but adding the pineapple with its natural juice, smoothes a bit the process. The combination is perfect, the greens are not overpowering, don’t worry.
How many calories in pineapple kale juice?
1 cup of fresh kale has only 33 calories, the pineapple is the one that has 164calories, bringing the whole detox green juice to 215 calories.
Some of the questions I receive from you guys are about drinking kale juice for weight loss.
Green juice is the quick way to get all those good vitamins, minerals, chlorophyll and antioxidants. We are all aware of the detox-boosting properties but there are some aspects that we tend to overlook sometimes. When we juice fruits and veggies we are destroying most of the fibers that come with them. This lack of fiber makes any sugar from the fruit get quickly absorbed into your bloodstream.
Long story short, while I absolutely love this green juice – pineapple and kale juice for all the amazing healthy benefits, I would not drink it for weight loss, unless you’re a very active person.
It’s a natural boost of energy, vitamins and good life!
