Blackberry Coconut Raw Energy Balls

  • o 1 cup fresh blackberries or any type of berries
  • o 250g/ 8.5oz Medjool dates
  • o 60g/ 2oz raw almonds
  • o 85g/ 3 oz shredded coconut plus some extra for rolling


  1. Add raw almonds to the food processor and pulse until they are coarsely chopped.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients to the processor and mix on low speed for about 2 minutes (stop to scrape down sides if needed) until the ingredients come together to form a "sticky dough".
  3. Using a teaspoon, scoop dough out of the food processor and using your hands roll it into small balls. Roll them in shredded coconut and set aside on a large plate.
  4. Repeat the process until you finish all the dough.
  5. Refrigerate before serving them! Store in an airtight container, in the fridge.

Recipe Notes

The ingredients need to be processed for at least 2 minutes. It will be a dry mix at first but will slowly start to stick together to form a dough. You can check it by taking a little of the mix in to your hand and squeezing it. If it holds or sticks together then it's ready. If it is already finely chopped but not holding together - add a little water while processing.
