Place the chicken in slow cooker, pour the teriyaki sauce over the top. Mix the chicken and sauce together to ensure that the chicken is fully coated in the sauce.

20 minutes before the end of the cooking time, mix a cornstarch slurry and add half of it to the sauce. This will thicken the sauce and make it stickier. Once the chicken is cooked, shred it with two forks and mix it with the sauce.
