Honeydew Orange Juice

Honeydew and Orange fresh juice with a touch of pear and raspberries is a delight!

I decided for a sweet, full of flavor, fruity combination: honeydew orange juice, with a touch of pear and raspberries. Veggies are taking a break today 🙂

Why honeydew? Well…this girl likes her sweets :)… It’s full of flavor, rich and sweet. But it’s also Monday morning, so I figured that you need to balance that sweetness out with something a little bit zesty, to add some extra depth and another layer of differentiation.

Raspberries are one of my favorite fruits. But you can use blueberries, blackberries or any other berries that you can find or prefer.

How many raspberries? I tried 10-15 off for a 1/4 of honeydew used, but you can go as crazy as you want! Once that overwhelming creamy dew juice is mellowed down you have the perfect juice.

This morning I have had a ripen pear in my pantry. Sweet, creamy and fragrant like good organic pears should be.

But again, that sweetness would’ve overpowered my previously balanced combination. So I introduced just one of my all time oranges-some Florida organic navel oranges. Less sweet, more lemony – if you like, but a perfect complement to my pear introduction.

All in all, a perfect juice, simple yet a great way to start a sleepy Monday morning. Enjoy!
